Lagoona Blue is the daughter of the infamous Sea Monster. Lagoona Blue shreds the waves on the school surfing team, and when the water gets a little rough she occasionally gets a chomp taken out of her board.
She has long, blond hair with blue streaks, and light blue skin. She
also has several fins, webbed hands and gills behind her ears. She
speaks with an Australian accent, and is depicted as a sporty girl who is the captain of Monster High's
swim team and is on the fearleading squad. Her personality is friendly
and laid back. As the Gill-man
is half-amphibian, half-human, Lagoona is closer related to amphibians
rather than fish; this is further evidenced by the fact that she doesn't
have a problem with breathing on land (unlike her boyfriend Gill). She
disapproves of dissecting frogs in the webisode "Freedom Fight", but has
no problems eating sushi.
